Your licence to use DriveSense, how the Pro subscription and its auto-renewal work, and the limits of what a diagnostic app can tell you about your car.
DriveSense is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use of the app is governed by Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. These Terms of Use supplement that agreement and describe the subscription and the specifics of this app. Where the two conflict on a point Apple's EULA covers, Apple's EULA prevails.
DriveSense is provided by Yusuf Güzel, an independent developer based in Türkiye. By downloading or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
DriveSense is free to download and free to use for its core function. Without any purchase you get:
DriveSense Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks:
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings: Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro features remain available until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, tap Restore Purchases on the DriveSense Pro screen to recover an active subscription.
All purchases are made through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are happy to help you with a problem, but we cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves.
Do not operate your phone while driving. Set up DriveSense before you move off. Mount your device securely so it never obstructs your view or interferes with the vehicle's controls or airbags, and follow the traffic laws where you are — some jurisdictions restrict windshield-mounted displays and HUD reflections.
DriveSense is not a substitute for professional diagnosis. It reports what your vehicle's ECU makes available over the OBD2 port and applies statistical analysis to it. Readings, health scores, predictions and anomaly flags are informational estimates — their accuracy depends on your vehicle, your adapter and which parameters your ECU exposes. Never rely on the app alone for a decision about the safety or roadworthiness of a vehicle. If anything suggests a fault, have a qualified mechanic inspect it.
You agree to use DriveSense only with vehicles you own or are authorised to access, and only in a lawful manner. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the app except where that right cannot be excluded by law, resell or redistribute it, or use it to interfere with a vehicle's operation or to tamper with emissions equipment.
DriveSense is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it will be compatible with every vehicle or adapter, or that every parameter will be available on your car — availability varies by make, model, year and adapter quality.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for vehicle damage, repair costs, missed maintenance, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app or from reliance on its readings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: your vehicle telemetry stays on your device, and we do not sell your data.
We may update these terms as the app develops. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new date, and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continuing to use DriveSense after an update means you accept the revised terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it; remember to cancel an active subscription separately through Apple.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence.
